Sometimes we are afraid to be with certain people because we are afraid they’ll challenge us to become more than we are.
Only love will make you understand.
Don’t get stuck. Move, travel, take a class, take a risk. There is a season for wildness and a season for settledness, and this is neither. This season is about becoming. Don’t lose yourself at happy hour, but don’t lose yourself on the corporate ladder either. Stop every once in a while and go out to coffee or climb in bed with your journal. Now is your time. Walk closely with people you love. Don’t get stuck in the past, and don’t try to fast-forward yourself into a future you haven’t yet earned. Give today all the love and intensity and courage you can, and keep travelling honestly along life’s path.
Love is and always was the longing deep inside my heart to know you and be known by you.

Why do we constantly search for affirmation from others? Is is not enough to know that we are each and every one uniquely loved & uniquely making the world go round? We are His, He is enough, His plans are greater, we are not entitled to anything, yet we receive abundantly more than we could ever dream for ourselves.
People who really want to make a difference in the world usually do it, in one way or another. And I’ve noticed something about people who make a difference in the world: They hold the unshakable conviction that individuals are extremely important, that every life matters. They get excited over one smile. They are willing to feed one stomach, educate one mind, and treat one wound. They aren’t determined to revolutionize the world all at once; they’re satisfied with small changes. Over time, though, the small changes add up. Sometimes they even transform cities and nations, and yes, the world.
